Biography

Andy Layton James

There are voices that entertain, and then there are voices that transcend—voices that seem to carry the weight of decades, the joy of triumphs, and the ache of heartbreak in every note. Such is the voice of Andy Layton James, a seasoned vocalist whose artistry has become synonymous with emotional depth and technical brilliance.

From the moment Andy steps onto the stage, there's a quiet command in his presence. A man, a microphone, and a lifetime of stories etched into his vocal cords. His voice is rich, textured like aged oak, capable of soaring into falsetto with a tenderness that silences even the rowdiest crowd. Andy doesn’t just sing—he inhabits the song.

From Moray, Scotland, Andy is well established and oozes talent with decades of experience. He lives with his partner, their son and dogs, quite literally lives the dream.

A talented multi instrumentalist, Grant has years of playing and composing experience and is a powerhouse of ideas and riffs with a collection of guitars to be proud of.

On the stage is where he blooms and his face is a reflection of his thoughts as they travel through his body into his guitar.

Grant lives with his beautiful wife in Aberdeen

Biography

Neil Stewart

In the world of rock, where guitar solos blaze and drum fills explode, the bass often lurks in the shadows—quiet, steady, essential. But every so often, a bassist emerges who doesn’t just hold down the groove—they define it. Enter the Neil: a master of low-end sorcery whose playing doesn’t just support the music—it transforms it.

This bassist doesn’t slap for show or thump for thrills. He sculpts sound. His fingers glide across the strings like a painter’s brush, coaxing out tones that rumble in your chest and ripple through your spine.

Neil has a talent for writing and a portfolio of material to be proud of. First and foremost a skilled guitarist, Neil brings this knowledge to the bass and  is the grounding for the band.

Retired from a busy working life, Neil lives with is gorgeous wife in Dundee with their dogs and his love of craft and woodwork.

Biography

James Reid

At just seventeen years old, James doesn’t walk into a room—he rhythms into it. His fingers tap out polyrhythms on tabletops, his feet shuffle in syncopated beats, and his mind hums with grooves most seasoned musicians spend decades trying to master. James isn’t just good for his age—he’s a phenomenon.

Born in Moray, Scotland, James' journey began with an old drum kit. By five, he was mimicking drum solos from classic rock albums. By ten he was winning talent shows. By fifteen he was doing session work and live shows by request. He holds his own with a maturity that impresses all.

His love of all music influences his style and his playing fuses elements of rock, metal, jazz, funk and classical. This boy's one to watch and is the beat of Carbon Replica. Still at home with his folks, he's a gentle strongman with a love of gardening, nature and the outdoors.
